Lebanese actor Wissam Fares was released by the Dekwaneh police station days after he was detained. He was detained following a fight between him and a member of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF) in the Automobile Management Authority.
Judge Mona Hanqir initially decided to detain him until the end of the Eid al-Fitr holiday. However, with the solidarity campaigns of his colleagues and the emergence of a video showing the other party raising weapons, he changed the course of the case to be released.
