Authorities of Burkina Faso announced a general mobilization to fight jihadists. The purpose of this action is to create a legal basis for actions that will be taken against terrorists.
Earlier, the authorities suspended the work of the French TV channel France 24 for an indefinite period. This happened after the leader of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb appeared on the channel. The organization is recognized as terrorist by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of 13.11.2008.
