Normally, the owners of the ski resort at Långberget stop pulling cross-country ski trails at the turn of the month March-April. Now, on the fifth of May, they still have just over nine kilometers of track.

"I've been here for 22 years, this is the first time in May," says co-owner Dan Norström. It is the cold spring, last week's snowfall on the mountain and a foundation of artificial snow that makes it possible to ski.
