The situation of tension in Sudan has increased to the point that the European Union is looking for ways to evacuate the citizens deployed in the country. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, confirmed today in Berlin that there are two Spanish aircraft "prepositioned to be able to enter Khartoum" when the conditions are met.

At least one A400 personnel transport aircraft took off this Friday at noon from the Torrejón Air Base bound for Djibouti. The aircraft will arrive around seven in the afternoon at its destination, and from there it must wait until it is time to evacuate.
