[HIGHLIGHTS] A high-level presentation event on the Global Development Initiative was held at United Nations Headquarters in New York

On the 19th local time, the high-level theme promotion event of "New Progress in Global Development Initiatives and New Actions on the Sustainable Development Agenda" was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. More than 80 people attended the event, including the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, ministerial officials from Guinea, Cuba, Russia, Tajikistan, Honduras, Dominica, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and other countries.

Participants spoke highly of the Global Development Initiative for achieving new results in the sustainable development agenda. Call on more countries to join the Group of Friends of the Initiative to inject new political impetus into the SDG Summit this September.
