Fatima Selim, a Sudanese resident in Egypt who works for the Swiss migrant support organization Terre des Zumm, says it will become more difficult. She says the amount of support provided by the UN refugee agency is very low.
Sudanese are concentrated in the Faisal and October areas of Giza and Hadayek El Maadi in Cairo and do not prefer Upper Egypt, she says. The current numbers of Sudanese in Egypt are close to 5 million, including large numbers that are not registered.
