In order to intensively strengthen measures to address the declining birthrate over the next three years, the government is projecting a new budget of about 3 trillion yen per year. The remaining approximately 2 trillion yen is being adjusted to secure social insurance premiums as "new support funds" for child-rearing.

A proposal to utilize the medical insurance system is being considered. The child allowance, which is currently up to junior high school students, will be expanded to include high schoolStudents. The monthly allowance will be 9000,7000 yen per high school student.
