Beijing Municipality recently approved the inclusion of 2 flaky place names, including 513 streets and alleys and Tiananmen Square in Guoxing Hutong. At present, 46,1157 traditional place names have been included in the protection list in the functional core area of the capital.
The types of place names are rich and diverse, which fully reflect the cultural characteristics of Beijing's big capital city and the sea and rivers. For example, there is a bell and drum alley named after the capital government office.
