"The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan" is a hit in French cinemas. The eponymous book by Alexandre Dumas is also a hit: sales have more than doubled in one month.

In a Parisian bookstore where Europe 1 went, delighted spectators are looking for the original work. "It brings back childhood memories, and it's part of a common foundation," says the bookseller, who advances a two- or three-fold increase in sales of the novel in her shop.
