Police made almost 2300 reports of doping offences throughout Sweden last year. China, Russia, Bulgaria and Spain are the most common countries sending doping substances to Sweden.

A large part of the sale of doping substances takes place online. Last year, Swedish Customs made 617 seizures and stopped 128,534 doping substances, according to figures obtained by SVT Sörmland. The police say that it has become increasingly common for strength-trained exercisers to be caught having doped themselves.
