Demand for new passenger cars in Russia in May 2023 increased by 2.6 times compared to the same period in 2022. In total, more than 72.2 thousand new cars were sold in the country during the month.
The leader is the domestic brand Lada with a market share of over 30%. According to experts, it is too early to talk about the recovery of the market, but the growth in sales that has persisted for several months gives grounds for optimism. In Russia, the demand for new Chinese cars has more than quadrupled in a year.
