The New Ecological and Social People's Union (Nupes) celebrates its first anniversary this Sunday. Launched for the 2022 legislative elections, this left-wing alliance brings together MPs from La France insoumise, the PS, the PCF and Europe-Écologie Les Verts.
"This alliance has raised a tremendous popular momentum," said Pierre Jouvet, secretary general of the PS. "It has allowed a disunited left that has not spoken to each other for 25 years, to decide to continue," said Jouvet.
