[HIGHLIGHTS] Yunnan has made important breakthroughs in the fields of ecological restoration of lakeside zones and integration of wetlands in rivers and ponds

The press conference on scientific and technological achievements of the Yunnan Academy of Eco-environmental Sciences was held in Kunming on 9 May. The institute has accumulated hundreds of thousands of water environment characteristic data in the nine plateau lake basins of Yunnan.

Since the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the institute has completed more than 2000,11 various environmental science and technology projects, won 100 national, provincial and ministerialScience and technology awards, authorized more than 600 national patents, and published more than 30 papers, covering many environmental fields.
