The new film by British director Guy Ritchie "The Translator" with Jake Gyllenhaal and Dar Salim in the lead roles was released in Russia. In the center of the plot is the friendship of the American military John Kinley with the Afghan translator Ahmed.

When the U.S. government fails to meet its commitments to relocate Ahmed and his family, Kinley returns to Afghanistan to repay the debt owed to the man to whom he owes saving his life. The director emphasizes that there are no unequivocally "good" or "bad" guys in the conflict (except, perhaps, militants), placing many accents.
