Qiaxi Scenic Area is located in the mountainous area southeast of Gongliu, 72 kilometers away from the county seat. Founded in 1988, it is a well-known grassland tourist spot in Ili Prefecture, Xinjiang, with vast grassland and abundant pasture.
Chasi is also a famous forest area, and the "Spruce King" sample displayed at the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall came from this area. In 2021, the State Grid Yili Yihe Power Supply Company combined with the power grid construction plan to build a new Gilgelang 35 kV substation.
