"Numa Iribonden" is a traditional event that is said to have continued since the Edo period in the Aradoko district of Hiraka Town, Yokote City. Five people, including a man of a bad age, participated in the parade through the district shirtless and carrying a bonden decorated with rice bales on a log about 4 meters long.

Until now, this event has been held on May 5 every year, but since it has become difficult to secure young people to participate due to the declining birthrate, it has been decided to hold it on May 1.
