[HIGHLIGHTS] Widespread sand and dust weather will occur in the north, and the overall intensity and extent are weaker than the strong dust storm process of March 3-19

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that due to cold air and cyclones in Mongolia, there will be a widespread windy and dusty weather process in the north from April 4 to 9. Most of the northern region is dominated by blowing sand or floating dust weather, and there are sandstorms in central and western Inner Mongolia and parts of eastern Xinjiang.

In terms of temperature, the temperature in the above areas will drop by 12 °C ~ 4 °C, and the cooling range of some parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, northern Hebei, western Liaoning, Shandong Peninsula and other places can reach 8 °C.
