Stockholm was hit by a major power outage on Wednesday morning. The metro stopped, Forsmark 1 and 2 had to shut down electricity production.
SVT's Morgonstudion was temporarily interrupted, despite being able to broadcast even in the event of a power outage. The cause of the power outage is supposed to be a maintenance work that went wrong at Svenska kraftnät. The error was due to the sound disappearing because a number of microphones were connected to the wrong electrical outlet.
