"The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" sold more than 10 million copies worldwide in just three days. It is the fastest-selling game in the entire Nintendo saga.
In Japan, it sold 2.24 million units, according to Nintendo. The latest installment is well on its way "to setting a new record for the franchise", says analyst Charles-Louis Planade, from Midcap Partners. The video game Hogwarts Legacy: Legacy of Hogwarts, from the Harry Potter universe, has sold over 15 million units in three months.
