A study by Médiamétrie reveals that seniors represent the largest share of daily video game players. The 15-24 year olds, who we imagine rather to take the first place in this ranking, arrive only in second place.
The preferred media differ according to the category of players. 25% of gamers in France are over 50 years old while young people represent only 23% of the total. A predominantly male daily practice (57%) while the average age of the typical player is around 35 years.
