Military and strategic expert Major General Fayez al-Duwairi said that the Ukrainian counterattack is a surprise at the strategic level in terms of its size and the nature of its objectives. He added that the battle of Bakhamout is among the tools employed to achieve the success of this attack.
On the other hand, military expert and strategist Vasily Fattigarov denied the existence of any Ukrainian strikes against Russia, considering that talk of exhaustion of Russian forces in Bakham out is wrong.
