On Thursday, interviews with the candidates to succeed Manuel Borja-Villel in the direction of the Reina Sofía Museum ended. There have been five meetings from which the international committee of experts will have to opt for the three best projects presented.
It is expected that the decision will be taken today and transferred to the Minister of Culture, Miquel Iceta, so that – after fixing the winning name – it can be validated in the Council of Ministers next Tuesday. Despite the various leaks that have dotted the election, one of the candidates mentioned – who does not want to confirm or deny his passage through the evaluation court – assures that the process has been correct.
