At least 110 people were arrested on Tuesday (April 25th) in Turkey, as part of an "anti-terrorist" operation targeting the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) The arrests were carried out in 21 provinces of the country, including Diyarbakir, in the southeast, with a Kurdish majority. The presidential and parliamentary elections are being held on Sunday 14 May in Turkey and will be decisive for the maintenance, or not, of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his AK Party.
