A study conducted with 10,000 patients in the US has revealed the 12 main symptoms of persistent Covid. This consequence of the disease, which can last for months or years, is more common in people who are not vaccinated or who are infected with variants prior to omicron.
The research, which has been funded by the US National Institutes of Health, is part of the NIH's 'Researching Covid to Enhance Recovery' project. More than 100 million Americans have been infected with Sars-CoV-2 (650 million people worldwide)
