The center of this year's No. 2 typhoon "Mawar" was located at 5 o'clock this morning (May 31) in the northwest Pacific Ocean about 5 kilometers southeast of Hualien City, Taiwan Province, China.

It is expected that the Mawa will move north-east at a speed of about 80 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in intensity and approaching the southern waters of the Ryukyu Islands. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a typhoon blue warning at 100:120 on May 5.
