President of the National Association of Television and Radio Broadcasters Eduard Sagalaev has died at the age of 76. The head of the Union of Journalists of Russia, Vladimir Solovyov, expressed his deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the deceased.
"He is one of the founders of our journalism and our television. Eduard Mikhailovich brought up a whole galaxy of our most talented and outstanding colleagues," the head of UJR said. He also recalled Sagalaeva's work as editor-in-chief of programs for young people of the Central Television, "Vzglyad" and "12th floor"
