From May 5 to 18, the China-Central Asia Summit will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The heads of state of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be invited to attend the meeting.
Experts said that the convening of the summit is a milestone in the history of the development of relations between China and Central Asian countries. They said it will open a new era of cooperation between China, Central Asia.
