The building is now owned by an unknown investor. The owner has said he no longer has an interest in keeping the property. The Flatiron is one of the most famous buildings in the world. It is located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway in Manhattan. It has been the subject of a book by Alice Sparberg Alexiou, published by Penguin Books.
