The 25th annual Chinese Drama Awards were held in Guangzhou, China. The awards are given to the best in Chinese drama.
The award is named after the Chinese word for "plum" or "blossom" The award ceremony took place on May 17. The ceremony was attended by more than 1,000 people. It was the first time the award has been given to a non-Chinese drama. It is the second year in a row that the award was given to an non- Chinese drama, the first was in 2008.
