The annual "Imajo Soba Festival" was held in Minamiechizen Town, Fukui Prefecture. 16 shops and organizations, including local soba shops, sold their proud grated soba noodles.
About 100 people formed a long line at the booth of the Keishin High School Soba Club in Fukui City. The noodles have a track record of winning third place in the national competition, according to the club's general manager..
