Tama Zoological Park in Hino City, Tokyo, temporarily closed due to infection of a bird he was keeping infected with bird flu. No other birds were confirmed to be infected and the disinfection work in the park was completed.

People who had been waiting for the reopening gathered at the entrance of the park even before it opened. For the time being, the zoo has prohibited entry to the duck pond and the black crane house where infections have been confirmed, and has suspended the exhibition of some animals.
