The Jinshu Plantation in Jinyuan District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, was full of herons from the north. Feng Shuwen purchased hundreds of thousands of seedlings such as oil pine and huashan pine in 2004.
He devoted himself to seedling cultivation, and his business was getting better and better. But a burst of bird calls in 2018 that changed all that. He pushed off all seedling partners and many visiting requirements, provided a safe, quiet and comfortable environment for heron breeding.
