Kakogawa City decided to remove the "street piano" installed at a station in Kakogawa. City cited a series of users who do not follow the rules and manners of the performance.
City is considering ways to relocate the piano or limit the duration of the piano in the future. "Street pianos" are being installed in local governments and commercial facilities nationwide because anyone can easily touch music and it is easy to create interaction between performers and passers-by. The decision was made as responses to a questionnaire were in favor of the installation.
