The "Kyosui Banquet" is held regularly as a spring event since Heisei 4 at Sengan-en Garden in Kagoshima City. The stage "Kumizu Garden" is thought to have been created in the Edo period.
A cup of sake is poured from the upper reaches of the waterway built in the garden and waka poetry is read before it reaches your eyes. The title of the song was "Tomo," and when the cup of shochu poured from upstream was washed away, the chanter ran a brush over a strip of paper and sang a waka poem.
