There has been little room to gauge whether some of the scandals that have been reported will influence those voters who could still change their ballot or stay at home. It remains to be seen if it ends badly for the Government, in the manner of a reality check that destroys the communicative mesh woven by Moncloa.

But all that noise will cease for the duration of the election, and the party of democracy is a silent film. The time is now for the people to make up their own minds about what they want.
