In Shibetsu City, Hokkaido, where sheep breeding is thriving, a workshop was held to teach people working on ranches how to shear sheep. Veteran shearer Hayabusa Oishi skillfully sheared the hair covering the entire body using special hair clippers while holding the sheep in front of the four participants.
The participants also sheared with clippers in their hands, and Mr. Oishi taught that it is important to hold the sheep down firmly so as not to injure the sheep during the work.
