Mysterious Horodyskia is a macrofossil found in the Proterozoic strata similar to a string of pearl necklaces. Researchers found that they preserved two very different types of Hochsler beaded specimens.

The average diameter of its "beads" is in the range of 0.8mm–10 mm and 0.1mm–0.8 mm, which can be compared with specimens from the MesoproTerozoic and Ediacaran periods.
