[HIGHLIGHTS] Salmon aquaculture facility utilizing underground water in the Daisetsu Mountains completed Higashikagura, Hokkaido

A land-based salmon production facility in Japan has been completed. The facility will use the water from the Daisetsu Mountains to produce salmon.

The fish will be used for food and as a gift to the people of Japan. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. It is hoped that it will reduce the time it takes to produce the fish by up to two years. The cost of the project is estimated to be less than $1.5 million, with the majority of the money coming from Japan.
