[HIGHLIGHTS] Salman Rushdie writes book about knife attack: "Not the easiest"

Salman Rushdie is writing a book about the attack on him. He lost sight in one eye and can no longer use one hand.

The book will be a few hundred pages, Rushdie said in a pre-recorded interview. It will be based on the events that led up to the attack in New York City, he said. He said he will write the book after he recovers from the attack, which took place last year. He was speaking at the Literature Festival in Wales, where the book is being written.
