US President Joe Biden has appointed American singer Lady Gaga as co-chair of the White House Committee on Culture and the Arts. Together with her, the post will be shared by producer and Oscar winner Bruce Cohen.

The committee, which resumed its activities after the break, included George Clooney, Jon Baptiste, Jennifer Garner, Martha Kaufman, Shonda Rhimes and others. In August 2017, the committee ceased its work after its members resigned in protest against President Donald Trump's reaction to the United Right march.
