Princess Hisako and her eldest daughter Joko have departed from Haneda Airport to attend the wedding ceremony of the Crown Prince of Jordan. They will also visit the Palestinian refugee camps and return to Japan on separate flights on March 2nd and 3rd.
This is the first time that Joko has made an official visit to a foreign country. King Abdullah and his wife and Crown Prince Hussein were visiting Japan last month, and Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress congratulated them on their marriage at the Imperial Palace.
