Ahmad Jamal died this Sunday at his home in Ashley Falls, in the state of Massachusetts, at the age of 92 due to prostate cancer. Over the course of eight decades of professional career, Jamal won several awards including the Grammy for his career.

In the early and mid-1950s, he led several trios and quartets until he released At The Pershing: But Not For Me, which is one of the most popular and influential recordings in jazz history. By the end of his career he had left 60 albums to his name.
