The Royal Swedish Opera is forced to cancel Friday's performance of "Short stories" at the rotunda of the opera house. The noise from the nearby nightclub Café Opera leaked in too much.
The Opera has not previously encountered this problem, as they do not usually give performances at the Rotunda on Friday evenings. The issue of renovating the Opera has been dragged on since Fredrik Reinfeldt's government, with Minister of Culture Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth promised two billion SEK in 2013 to rebuild the building.
