Kamikochi is one of Japan's leading mountain resorts overlooking the mountains of the Northern Alps. An opening ceremony was held at the foot of the symbol "Kappa Bridge" on the 27th.
More than 300 people, including local officials and tourists, participated in the event. Last year, the mountain opening festival was canceled due to the collapse of the slope of the road leading to Kamikocho. The arrival of the full-fledged tourist season was heralded by the performance of the Alphorn.
