From mid-April to late May, in the second largest inland lake in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a miracle of Chinese fish migration and spawning is staged. To reproduce, millions of chickfish swim out of Lake Dali, which is not conducive to egg hatching, swim upstream, spawn in upstream channels and then return to the lake to grow.

In order to protect the resources of the fish industry, since 1950, the local area has implemented an 11-month fishing ban every year.
