Ultimately, the crew of a patrol car took up arms and shot the dog dead. An investigation has been initiated against the dog owner, 63, who owns the animal. The injured were taken to hospitals and treated for bite wounds. The dog was shot dead by the police after the incident on Wednesday evening. The child was bitten in the arm and the grandmother in the face, police said.
