An obstetrics and gynecology clinic in Tokyo's Arakawa Ward suddenly closed on May 5. The clinic announced the closure on a poster at the entrance of the clinic and on its website.
So far about 8 consultations regarding transfers and medical examinations have been received from patients who were not informed of the closure in advance by the ward. On the other hand, the clinic explained in response to inquiries from the ward that the reason for the closure was due to deterioration of cash flow and the director's poor physical condition.
