The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare plans to shift to a system that accepts medical care at a wide range of medical institutions after the transition to Class 5. Approximately 4000,8400 medical institutions have secured a system to accept up to 5,8000 patients.
The monitoring of the epidemic situation will be changed to "fixed point graspping" in which the situation is reported to designated medical institutions once a week. There is no longer a legal basis for the government or local government to request that people refrain from going out or doing business.
