Journalist Mathias Wåg called a 48-year-old man with a far-right background a Nazi on Twitter and in a podcast. The man then chose to sue WåG for defamation under civil law.

Today, the Stockholm District Court announced that the lawsuit was dismissed. The ruling states that it is not illegal "in the context of a public debate, such as on Twitter, to claim that someone is a Nazi" The case is part of a larger legal trend, according to lawyer Ängla Pändel.
