[HIGHLIGHTS] Moms in Action, the NGO that cares for children in care admitted to hospitals: "Would you like to face that alone?"

Mamás en Acción celebrates a decade dedicating itself to accompanying hospitalized children who are alone. The NGO began its work in the same hospital that denied Majo Gimeno to accompany that child because it did not have institutional support.

In Spain there are more than 35,000 minors in care, 16,991 of them living in centers. "No matter how much they take care of them, the warmth of a family cannot be replaced, but welcoming is a resource that is not known," says Majo.
